We understand that our company relies on people’s success and are committed to empowering cultural transformation and maintaining a healthy, diverse, inclusive, and talent-dense working environment.

We also engage in local, tangible initiatives that go beyond our daily operations to demonstrate our care for the communities where we operate.

Ensuring Health and Safety at Work

We are committed to ensuring a healthy and safe working environment for our People, with appropriate protective equipment, adequate training, specific policies, and a dedicated internal department.

Our Health & Safety department offers strategic guidance and leads the development of initiatives, tools, and programs that are implemented across the entire group. It also sets the minimum health and safety requirements for all CSM sites and facilities, ensuring that local health and safety procedures and programs are fully compliant with both local regulatory standards and CSM Ingredients group requirements.

Championing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)

Creating a diverse, inclusive and talent-dense environment is one of our main commitments, as stated in our North Star model.

As part of our engagement for Diversity and Inclusion, we are a signatory of the Luxembourg Diversity Charter, an initiative by private and public companies, associations and administrations grouped within IMS Luxembourg (Inspiring More Sustainability).

In addition, we have carried out several initiatives at group level, including a workforce generational mix rebalance program, the creation of a Talent Management Committee and gender representation rebalance programs.

Engaging Local Communities

We believe that the best way to engage with local culture and heritage is through tangible initiatives that go beyond our daily operations and that demonstrate our care for the communities where we operate.

Our community engagement program ranges from joining charity runs and events to organizing Christmas fundraising events to support children and families in need.

Human Rights along the Value Chain

People's well-being for us is central. This principle is applied not just within the perimeters of our operations, but stretches to our entire value chain.

To ensure alignment with our core values and to nurture robust relationships founded on shared principles and attitudes, we request our suppliers to adhere to our Supplier Code of Conduct (check it out here).

This code was created to support fundamental human rights and encompasses aspects such as employee health and safety, working hours, wages, forced labor, and environmental protection. In the coming years, we aim to enhance our supplier engagement program further and promote the integration of ESG criteria throughout our supply chain.
